FanDuel Promo: How it works
The FanDuel offer is straightforward. Just deposit $10, make a $5 bet, and you’ll get bonus bets no matter what happens — $200 in North Carolina and $150 in all other FanDuel states.
The bonus bets at FanDuel expire in seven days but they’re flexible. That means you can bet $1 bonus bet on something, then $199 on something else. They don’t come in preset amounts.
Say I take $20 bonus bets and put it on the Angels +125 against the Rays on Tuesday. If L.A. wins, I’ll win $25, but I don’t keep the $20 bonus bet. If they lose, my bonus bet just goes away.
How the DraftKings promo works
The DraftKings promo is almost identical to the FanDuel one — just deposit $10, bet $5 on anything, and you’ll get $200 in bonus bets in North Carolina.
The main difference is that DK splits its bonus bets up into $25 increments, so in NC, you’ll get eight, $25 bonus bets.
They work the same as FanDuel after that. You don’t keep the stake, but you keep the profit if your bet wins.
So if I put $25 on the Kings +120 against the Warriors. If Sacramento wins, I’ll profit $30 in cash ($25 x 1.2) but I don’t keep the bonus bet itself.
